A NEW COURSE OF THEREMIN LESSONS THEREMIN101

The Theremin101 is a new course for beginners. Its special feature is that right from the first lesson you will be able to play music pieces, even though you do not yet have advanced playing skills.

This album comprises a set of backing tracks for you to practice and the booklet with the guide to the lessons (English and Russian languages).

At the time of publication (23.07.2021) the first lesson has already been uploaded on YouTube,
so you can start practicing straight away.

The link will take you to a new lesson each week and in 12 weeks the entire course and playlist of all 12 lessons will have been fully uploaded.

“Many people have started to learn to play the theremin but have failed to make satisfactory progress. Why should this be so?
The causes may vary but I believe that the main reason is because even the nearest objective seems to be too far away. You begin by playing a faltering miaow-miaow and suddenly it’s time to play Ave Maria but you have no idea how to do it. There is a huge gap between the very earliest sounds and the first time that real music can be made. With the theremin that gap is much bigger than with instruments such as the piano or flute and it is where most beginners give up.
